Wondering what to do with your eclipse glasses?
Send them to C&I Science Dept
via District Mail.
The Astronomical Society of the Pacific is collecting glasses on behalf of
Astronomers Without Borders
They will safely distribute them globally for future eclipses. Thank you!
Thanks to generous donations from Google, the Astronomical Society of the Pacific and the Exploratorium, we are able to provide viewing glasses to teachers. Due to high demand, please set up stations for maximum student participation using activity suggestion links on this page.
Elementary Teachers: SFUSD will distribute limited numbers of viewing glasses through District Mail to your principals.
Middle & High School Science Teachers: SFUSD will provide each teacher with viewing glasses at the August 17th Science Professional Development Day.
