4S: San Francisco, Science, ​Stewardship and Sustainability

A cross-organizational partnership between the SFUSD and informal science and environmental education organizations
​to support each other’s work.

Vision:

The 4S vision is to cultivate scientifically & environmentally literate students, teachers & families and to inspire, engage & sustain them in life-long science learning & exploration.​​

How does our organization get involved?​

Members participate in quarterly meetings with a dual focus on collaborative work and professional development.

These meetings utilize the knowledge, skills and abilities of the collective group to build capacity for high quality teacher and student programming.

Does your program have an announcement for Science Newsletters that reach Elementary, Middle & High school teachers? Newsletter submission deadlines 2019-20: August 28th, October 28th, January 27th, March 23rd & May 18th, 2020.
